How does VeeFly generate valid watch hours?
We run display campaigns on the Google Display Network. These ads appear on
millions of websites, apps and Google-owned properties, driving users to your
public videos. When viewers watch your long-form videos, the watch time is
recorded as external traffic. YouTube counts watch hours from external sources,
whereas watch hours from ad campaigns or private/unlisted videos do not count
toward the 4,000-hour threshold.
